Responsibilities of the Program Participant
The program participant's responsibilities include (and are not limited to):
It is solely the responsibility of the program participant to fully read and understand the contract on AIESEConline.net. The program participant is also responsible for reading AIESEC's International Exchange Policies and Quality Standards.
- looking up the travel risks and health/vaccination requirements of your host country
- ensuring that he/she has health insurance coverage in the host country
- purchasing a travel insurance plan
- securing the necessary travel documents for going abroad (a valid passport, visa/work permit)
- purchasing the round-trip flight tickets in a timely manner
- ensuring that he/she has the necessary funds for all the living expenses (rent, food, local transportation, etc.) while he/she is abroad
